The Crimson V-File is a fret crowning tool designed to restore perfectly rounded fret tops without touching the levelled surface. By only working the sides of the frets, it avoids accidentally scraping the fret crown and creating buzzing low spots, giving you a clean, professional finish every time.

Options:

• Centred Full Edge – Two diamond edges in a centred V-shape cut both sides at the same angle for simple, fast crowning
• Bevel Full Edge – Two diamond edges cut both sides simultaneously, offset to shape one side higher than the other; flip to the opposite side to complete the crown
• Bevel Side Edge – Offset shape but with a smooth, non-cutting edge to ride on the fret and guide your strokes for single-side shaping
