For best results apply 3 to 4 coats of finish with 2 to 4 hours of curing time in between.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDirections for Use:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApply the initial coat to finely sanded wood, at least, 240 grit, or after a sealer coat of our Penetrating Finishing Oil.  Apply with a brush, soft cloth, or rub in with 1200 grit wet and dry paper.  Leave to cure for 5 to 10 minutes, or until sticky.  Rub off the excess with a clean cloth and leave to cure completely before applying the next coat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eI find that the best result is  achieved rubbing the oil in with 1200 grit wet and dry paper and then wiping away all the excess until you have a finish that is dry to the touch.  A few coats like this followed by, if you fancy, some wax.  I like heating up the cloth I apply wax with so it goes easier.  You shouldn't need to key the surface before applying more coats but if you want to just rub back a little bit with more 1200 grit wet and dry using a little of the oil as a lubricant. - \u003cstrong\u003eBen Cro\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ewe\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/blockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSafety - \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThis oil is a flammable liquid and vapour (\u003cstrong\u003eH226\u003c\/strong\u003e) It contains White Spirit (\u003cstrong\u003eD40\u003c\/strong\u003e) and ETHYL METHYL KETOXIME.  Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources.  Please do not smoke around this product.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eKeep the container tightly closed when not in use.  This product should have a long life if stored correctly in the original bottle and kept in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
