Each file features two full-length concave filing grooves — one for narrow/medium fretwire and one for medium/wide fretwire — both uniformly coated with micro industrial-diamond particles. The grade of this file is 300-grit.

Diamond files cut smoothly in both directions without chattering or leaving chatter marks, resulting in a consistent finish after crowning. They are trusted by repair shops and major manufacturers worldwide. You will still need to sand or use fret rubbers after crowning to get a polished finish.

The concave cutting edges are designed specifically for medium and wide fretwire. The diamond surfaces are extremely durable and produce a more consistent, rounded crown compared to standard files.
